I haven't ordered okoume directly from them, but I have ordered sapelle. Very nice stuff. I have also ordered half sheets of Shelman okoume from Chesapeake Light Craft (who Harbor Freight supplies) which was also nice.

I've never had any complaint about Harbor. Depending on where you live they may deliver for free. I'm in York, PA and they deliver to my office free of charge. Note: Has to be a business for the free delivery. G'luck!

I've drovr up there from Raleigh and bought 5 sheets of 1/4 ocume for a canoe. I had them cut it into 2x8 sheets to fit inside my BroncoII. The quality was good. They have a good reputation. Though I would expect you should be able to find an acceptable source closer to you.

Andrew: Therein lies my problem. I have been looking for quite some time and the closest sources I have found are World Panel Products in Lake Worth, FL (over 400 miles) and Harbor in MD.

If anyone knows of a closer source to Tallahassee, FL, I would sure appreciate knowing about it.

Thanks

Try boat yards or boat builders in the area, either for sources or they may be willing to add a few extra sheets to their next order for you.
