Flounders Bay Lumber in Antacortes, WA. via SR-71.

If you do end up having to order it they will do well for you.

I don't know about supersonic lumber trucks, but driving down the hill on US30 from Astoria, OR to Longview, WA I could swear that I heard sonic booms as the log trucks passed me :D

180, surely you can find western red cedar in St. Louis. I did, but that was 35 years ago and I can't remember just where. The harder I try to visualize the location the more the picture gets confused. South of I-80, east of Lindberg, an independent lumber place. Lynn and I built an 18' stripper canoe with the stuff.

Finding Western Red Cedar isn't the problem. It's finding it in boards that I can get full strips out of at least half the board. I guess I should look around at the lumber yards and look at longer length boards. Thanks.
