German terminology

Can anyone out there provide me with a lead to a resource or resources giving the GERMAN EQUIVALENTS of terms commonly used in the lofting and construction of wooden boats such as, "rabbet"
"bearding line", "middle line", "buttock", "fair",
"keel", "transom", "deadwood", etc., etc. ?Resource in original German is acceptable.

Interesting to meet someone with a similar problem - guess how hard it is to think in English terms and explaining the process of boatbuilding to German students :D ... Serious: would be glad to help. Give me time till Monday when I have access to my technical dictionary in the office. If you want to you may well mail me a list of terms you want translated: hans-henning.lassen@gymnasium-sanitz.de

Interesting. I'd like to be able to help, but my knowledge of German is limited to "Toplicht...."

And as a matter of fact, I'm having a similar translation problem with Dutch. I don't suppose there's another Good Samaritan like Hans out there who could be a sort-of "email dictionary" in that language?

bearding line = (Guss-) Naht
buttock = Heck (same as Spiegel = transom)
deadwood = Totholz

I had a similar problem when trying to buy MAS epoxy from Holland for our CLC kit. No distributor in Germany - I wasnt successful - the Dutch sales assistant couldnt speak German or English.
