I am installing a Farymann diesel and am looking for levers and cables to control the throttle and gearbox. Teleflex has some controls that take morse cables but the controls really aren't suitable for a small sailboat. Also, the morse cables aren't very flexible for a tight space in a 24' boat. Are there any cables that are more flexible than morse cables and does anyone know of a company that makes nice small controls. The engine actually needs 2 controls for throttle, one to go from an idle to off position. Then another for throttle and one for shift. So the smaller the better. Farymann may have some, I'm checking into it, but their US dealer said usually they sell the engines to boat builders who already have a source for these controls. I was unable to find many companies making nice small controls though.

You will have to do the reserch for the size unit you need, but as to the cables I can help.
You want the Teleflex X-Treme cables.
They will turn a MUCH tighter radius than any of the Morse units. the high end or the low end units. There are 2 models in Morse. Yes Teleflex bought out Morse.
PowerBoat reports did a test on all the Morse and Teleflex X-Treme's. The X-Treames came out on top and they are cheaper than the High end Morse's.
I have 2 friends that have changed their cables out to the X-Treme's and couldn't be happier.

I got the Teleflex Xtreme's. Wow, what a difference. I can practically turn these cables into a pretzel. Great for small boats. Thanks!
