Hmmm, there's a number of folks advertise in the back of our sponsor's pages, Lunenberg Foundry maybe, maybe some used equip sources too.

I believe you would find the fittings for a Herreshoff 12 1/2 would work for you. I have used both Bristol Bronze and Balentine's(?) Boat Shop for these fittings. Both companies advertise in Wooden Boat Magazine. Bristol Bronze has a full catalog on the internet at

I had a 3" bronze gooseneck fitting custom cast for a boat I recently (delivered July '01) commissioned from the ApprenticeShop in Rockland. It's a beautiful piece of work. (the gooseneck and the boat) They probably still have the pattern and also have some foundry capabilities. (I'm not sure if they subbed it out or not. . .probably.) As to price, since it was part of a rigging package, I'm not certain what they would charge for the piece alone. But it would be worth your while to contact them in any event, as they have a first-rate program deserving of support.

Try Davey and Company (London). Since it's for export, you're excused British VAT (17%).
