While searching for lumber for a Buzzards Bay 30 at work my boss found a great source. This guy is running several sawmills and a river dredging operation. He has access to just about any hard or soft wood you could hope for. Hes has a boatbuilding background and knows good lumber. We recieved a load of Long Leaf Pine and Bald Cypress for the BB 30 and some Juniper (Alantic White Cedar) and some W.O. All are excellent quality. The LLP sinkers are amazing! Huge old growth trees. Biggest plank was 9/4s X 30" X 24' for the garboards! He was very helpfull with shipping by piggy backing the order with similar lumber going to French and Webb in maine. Contact Churchill Hornstein at 910-452-0032 and tell em that Darlings Boatworks sent ya!

I bought some longleaf from him, and was really happy with it. He's also very pleasant to talk to.
