On my Lightning, I'm planning on attaching the outer keel (and Skeg) to the fiberglass covered wooden hull with screws. This will allow it to be easily replace and/or repaired over the years. My question what would be a good bedding compound to use between this outer keel and the fiberglass?
Carl.

Have started the repairs to a 1957 Lippencott lightnng #6682. There appears to be a little rot forward of the centerboard along the keel, where the keel plank meets the garboard p
plank. Everything else appears solid. Should I take the keel board off to explore more. if so other than pulling the screws are there any tricks to it

Use a conventional bedding compound such as Dolphinite.
