Joe Youcha down at the Alexandria Seaport has been looing at fishing boat replacement around the Indian Ocean. It may not be on the short term program for lots of folks and I know that many people have kicked in already. This is a longer term project. For us think about kicking in again: think boater to boater. A goal? ten percent of what you spend on boats a year?

I just heard on NPR that Bush was going to ask congress for $1 billion for rebuilding Tsunami damage. Specifically mentioned were rebuilding roads and fishing fleets.

This is a worthy cause! With Joe Youcha at the helm, a successful building program is assured.
I have never met the man but hope to someday!
