Nice photo album!

Say, where was Joe? Hell, there was a camera around, I'd thought he'd be there. smile.gif

That rig used to pull the pilings is quite the contraption. Is that what you guys use to set them with too?

If you don't mind, we also pulled some docks up here, and I'd like to share these pictures...

Getting them ready...

Just throw a line around a cleat and pull...

I let it loose, the turned around and pushed them onto the beach where a front end loader picked them up...

Very cool machine we use at the CSBC, a strap pulls the pilings up in Fall, pulls them down in the Spring...The bottom, under 5-6 ft of water at high tide, is several eons of Hudson River mud...

The rain made for a great day, haven't had so much fun playing in the mud since I was 6...

And Brian, ice pack in October! That's weather!

Going out to do it again today...let's see: 25 guys at 8 hrs each times 2 days = 400 man hours....

It's amazing how much work people will do to be on the water...

Phil

PS Joe, all these shots were grabbed in between hauling tires, unclipping docks and haulin' them around for pickup...made things more interesting, but no hours credit

Breian, is that THE pipeline in the background or just A pipeline?

That's just a pipe line, not THE pipeline. In fact, I know I've been near THE pipline on the Slope, but haven't actually seen it. Of course I've seen it a ton over the years living in Fairbanks. Toured the terminal in Valdez too. Not an impressive tour, just a bus ride around the storage tanks etc.

That pipe carries filtered sea water for injection back into the wells.
