we took Scoot, the wee one on top away for his last trip to mahurangi for the regatta.( Zip and Scram underneath) .But since I haven't been to the boat since, he's still there.Looks like a reprieve then...... he can come away this weekend as well. tons of kids ( possibly 11!)due to sail away with us on up to 5 or 6 boats so I'm sure there will be someone to take him out for a row.
It's a challenge, carrying all these small boats, but it's worth it. We broke a three year old in this christmas. 1 lesson on the beach, a couple of hours on a tether in an inflatable and then we cast him off in Zip.He did a good job too.

So, what's the problem? Looks good from here. Is it stowage ? Maybe you could invert the stack, with a little extra support under the stack and between.

It'll work! Nesting chocks.

Donno if you can clear everything if laid the long way, but it'll fit ok athawartships. The blocking for the three bows would be especially beautiful sculpted.

G'luck.

"My name is John B, and I'm a dinghy-holic."

I don't think there's a "Dinghy's Anonymous" chapter down there, JB - you may just have to live with it.

Maybe get a bumper-sticker that says "One Day-Sail At A Time"

just got back. Nah the problem isn't stowage.they live on the hatch or counter upside down , rightside up or split apart somewhere else. we packed all three up and stuck them in my berth for example ( coming home just now). Nope. It's just the 5 dinghies hanging on behind, twisted painters, cross wakes coming into the bay etc. Sigh. nevermind.... the price one pays .....\

yes Ken. My name is John........

.
Try making the painters fast to a spar, and towing the spar from a bridle made fast to both quarters.

actually....one of the little tricks of keeping nicks outta the topsides at anchor is to pole out the boom...or maybe a spinnaker pole if it will clear the side decks and tie the painters up kinda short on the outboard end....
