Yesterday I found an old Sea Scout Whaleboat which a good mate "lost track of". It was unfortunate that he lost it but he was having a problem with alchol at the time. We may be able to regain possession of the boat as my mate wants to do her up, between him and me we have the 3 sets of oars and all the rigging and sails. He really has no idea how this other fella got the hull! Anyway, getting to the point, the current possessor of the boat has it laying upside down, covered somewhat scantily with an old poly tarp and it is supported on each 'corner' by an old chair. As a result the hull has "Hogged" by about 2 inches and it has about a 4 inch twist in it. The hull is clinker/lapstrake ply over steamed ribs, is it "Unhoggable"? Is it possible to untwist her as well?
