Our Canadian-built PDQ Powercat was 34 feet 6 inches long with a beam of nearly 17 feet. It had a massive saloon with small cabins, heads, and galley in the narrow hulls. It also had a weird, snappy roll in a beam sea.
DUH!

I saw one at a boat show a few years ago, it was very impressive. I think it is nicer looking than other power cats that I have seen.

My stepbrother is the purchasing manager for PDQ. It's the future of fuel efficient power boats.
The Marina's are catching on, and charging different rates. ;)

Pretty common for catamarans.
The 32ft tri I worked on 2 summers ago is 30ft wide, near square.

The 32.5 ft. R.Woods Cat I'm building has a 19.5 ft. beam.
Earlier Sailing Catamarans had less beam and are less stable than the newer designs with more beam.
