Hi All
Has any forumite ever converted an old rowboat in to a bed? I'm thinking kinda along the lines of Walter Simmon's 'Littlest Wherry', except for us non-babies.
Cheers,
PS, I remember a movie (very vaguely) where the main guy had a rowboat converted into a bed that was actually hanging from his ceiling, that'd make for some fun nights.....

Sacrilege. A crib tender designed and built for that purpose is one thing.

You reckon Joe? Why is that? What if the boat is beyond repairable? People would still be able to enjoy the boat's beauty and character as a piece of furniture..... Would that really be a bad thing? I wouldn't want to upset the boat gods.

No wooden boat is beyond repairable. If one such boat ever existed and it was once sea worthy is should be given a proper Viking funeral. The worst thing to befall a true wooden boat is to become some decorative object or end up hanging from the rafters of some cheesy fish and chips joint.
