And, to top off a perfect day the starboard aft tire went flat. Ask me about the jack Ford equips the F-150 with sometime when I can use appropriate language.

Hahahahah ... yeah the jack... just like a toy if I remember rightly.

Two suggestions. A JACK ALL farm jack strapped into the back or look around for a 35 to 400 year truck or car scissor jack. They were built very strongly and easy to use.

Oh ...Lovely boat.. every picture. smile.gif

I'm also impress you can seem to keep that hat on everywhere, even under the trailer Norm :D

Yup, again. Still. But with the tops'l it takes her a bit longer. Besides taking pictures she is handy to retrieve my strawbonnet when it blows off. Didn't think it was windy enough for the Tilley. Well it twernt really. It was the floggin' jib when I was messin' with the anchor on the fore deck see...

Peter, I think using a 400 year old jack might be kinda dicey. ;)

GORGEOUS boat(s)!!

Norm--

I passed you going north on Wenninghoff Road, just south of the intersection with Lake Cunningham Road. I about twisted my neck off looking at that gorgeous boat.

I can't get my topsail to set as well as that.

Oh! Ah! Lotsa boat in a cutter. Makes those kits look desperately like kits.

Hey, Russ. Daniel commented that someone was staring at us about there. Were you at the stop sign at State Street as we were making the turn? I'll add your email address to the Boats-of-Wood, World Headquarters formerly David City, Nebraska, list if you might be interested in joining up for a splash-in sometime. I've been a little self-centered the past few months and didn't get around to organizing a fall get-together but we can usually muster half dozen nice wooden boats a couple of times a year.

Thanks all for your kind words. It's fun to share pictures with that sort of feed back. A flaw in my personality, I guess. redface.gif tongue.gif

Norm,

You'll have to get yourself a reacher/drifter to hold off Akimbo!

Georgeous boat Norm - superior workmanship and serious hull candy (smooth hull + eye candy). I can't remember seeing it complete - glad I took a gander.
I'll have to search the archives for more pics under construction.

It's all in the lighting, John, and dust specks and quarterinch epoxyfilled joints don't show up in pictures. If I posted any pictures of construction, there were not many as it was before digital, they would have gone the way of PhotoPoint.
