Ebay has a nice looking Crocker Cutter. You'd want to get a more detailed survey.

Ended with reserve not met.
Some don't like the raised deck, but I think these Crocker cutters are handsome boats. Good builder, too.
Odd tax stuff at the end of the listing, that I didn't quite grock.
Might be a good boat.

The way it looks to me is that because they are selling it before they have owned it for 2 years, the purchaser will be listed by them for 2 years as a charterer of the boat. The purchaser will put up 75% of the purchase price and will be responsible for insuring etc of the boat for that 2 year period. At the end of that time if you still want to purchase it then the purchaser pays the remaining 25% and receives the title.

Well, tax weirdness aside, I think it might be a worthy boat. 'Billow', you woudn't even need to change the name. smile.gif
Getting a good surveyor to look over the wood, fastenings etc. would be good.
BTW, the original Gull, a similar raised deck, with a sloop rig, not a cutter, is for sale over on the Crocker website. Asking twenty.
