What kind of Boat is this?

I bought this boat cheap along with some wood. The previous owner said his Dad built it back in 1958 from either plans or a kit. He claims it is a Chris Craft Kit boat but I am sure it is not. There were quite a few kit boats in those days. Could it be a Glen-L or a Clark Craft? Any ideas? Is there any value here? The engine and tranny are gone. It supposedly had a Lincoln V-8 in it.

Chris never had any kit boats in plank. Looks like it was built from plans, and maybe Glen L.
She's pretty rough, but not unsalvageable

Her lines don't look right for a'Chis'. Among other things Chis's didn't have that much deadrise at the transom. Good looking boat & looks very restorable (you should see what I'm in the middle of).

Not a CC ... they only had one exhaust port on the transom ... at least any of them that I'v seen ... and no bullnose either.
