I got my engine block and crank back!! yay.. and its put together now. New pistons, new lifters, rings seals bearings New seats in the heads, new valves, new oil pump new fuel pump etc. I just put the oil pan on tonight and put the timing cover and harmonic damper on as well. Tomorrow, the heads. I built an engine bed on the weekend, and I will be able to test run the engine on it. Original Chris Craft blue, and even replica valve cover decals. (it's a 283) :D :D

Don't ya much prefer puttin' the clean, purty parts back together, compared with taken' the dirty, greasy ones apart! :D
Great engine that Chris Craft 185. How about some pictures when you have it all back together?

Actually we don't have very much snow, but the Bay of Quinte is frozen now, about five inches of ice.
