www.yachtworld.com (http://www.yachtworld.com) can be addictive, habit forming and hazardous to your health!

For you PNW'ers there is an interesting little sharpie in Naniamo, B.C. and a Fox Island sloop in Sand Point, ID. Advanced search shows the way.

Meerkat, don't go there! :D

Dunt worry Ven - I'm not into sharpies ;)

Check it out. Kinda un-sharpie like. You know the drill-the broker didn't have a clue what to call it.

Wasn't somebody sometime asking about the Fox Island sloop? (Corrected, sorry!) Joel White small keel daysailer? Anyway, there's a nice one in, of all places, Sand Point, ID.

These would be your basic "State of the Possible" in North America.

Can that keel on Fox Island be modified to be a bit more trailer freindly? And could her cuddy be enlarged to be a bit more people freindly? I'll bet she's fast! And lastly could she be gaff rigged?

I thought this boat might get your attention-the hull has the same family heritage as your shearwater.

This is a performance boat. Her equipment includes:

Sails and Rigging
Hall aluminum mast and boom, 1x19 stainless steel wire standing rigging with new dacron running rigging. Sail area is 160 Sq. Ft. and the sail inventory consists of mostly Doyle sails in both dacron and mylar. 2 mains, 2 jibs, 3 spinnakers and 2 genoas. Spinnaker pole and 1 Harken winch. There is also a new Harkin mainsheet traveler system (2001), maual boom vang and manual backstay adjuster.

Nice boat for not a lot of money. The trailer would cost $3k to $5k US to duplicate.

Your right, she did and she's not that far away. I beleive I have seen an ad for her in a local brokers paper, she's been for sale for a while. This boat could get me hurt, she's a huge step forward and I'm still a todler. I'd like to crew on something like this to see if I've got the right stuff.
