A dandy issue I think. Loved Connors Boat. The solar cruiser was very cool.

Got mine and still getting into it. One question, though. On the cover, that solar powered cruiser... does he really have an offshore liferaft pack on the cabin top.. and if so, whatever for?

Hmm .. perhaps a Aussie rule? Good point. I suppose if you got blown out to sea in a very light plywood solar cruiser, you might need one. :D

Crunch was more to the rigging than the hull.

Interesting restoration by the way.

A very particular man is our Dennis.

As I recall he started with one group of local shipwrights, found them or some of them not to his liking and recruited others who eventually finished the job.
The project was done at the old Kettenburg Marine yard now a part of the Driscoll waterfront empire.
'bout 2 blocks from this tenement I live in.

That paint job has to be seen to be believed.Not a blem anywhere sheer gloss. :cool:

Got mine a week ago or so down here on the GA coast. No donkey carts here. I try desperatwely to make it last till the next issuem but end up devouring it.
