Finbar got to thinking about the season, about Dan Greenburg's article that I C&P'd in Misc, and figured he'd forgive those who trespassed against him. You're safe now, Peter. ;)

Did this one "Egyptian style" - lots of bodies. Thanks go to many of the usual suspects, and at least one new one. You should be able to spy Phoenix's original keel just over yonder. Now to clean the area up a bit, get the canoe out of the way, and introduce a wee bit of heat...

So thanks to: The Lurker, SWMTMH, Rick Warren (Sailor Extraorinaire, 3rd in class his first Bermuda race) and Neighbor Allen, who's good nature and sense of humor I treasure. Lastly, Godzilla, our one-time 2-year-old foster child, now 17, 6'4" and I don't know how much he weighs, but he eats enough for two horses, LOL. Thanks all.

Hey Ed,
How's your boathouse holding up with this heavy, icy wet, white stuff we received this weekend? I lost 2 trusses on my boatshed this morning  , both on the port side, midships, the tender survived. A huge slab of frozen crap, slid off my garage roof & bashed the boatshed  .
I know you had issues before with your trusses, Just wondered how there holding up.

Rick, ouch

I just put a new, slippery, tarp over Our Lady so the snow shouldn't be as able to get a grip. I also went over Sat night when we had about 4" on the ground to have a look see. Not more than 1" on it, I think. I went up and gave it all a knock and sent the snow plunging down like a great avalanche. So far, so good.

I can see, having something set up under the eaves of a higher roor that there could be some issues. Hope that, all in all, things came out OK.

Hey Ed,
can we do a swap?....say some nice COLD fluffy snowy stuff for some HOT HUMID rays of sunshine? Inside the boat here it's 36degC on an average day. It's got that sauna like effect!
Anyhow, looks like you two (that's your mut included) are doing good work as per usual!
Bernadette.
