thanks everyone! gonna be called the "Lea Annette" after my wonderful daughter. actually ken i had planned to have the pointy thing going the other way but swmbo said it would look funny and probably not row well. she's usually right! whoops, she's always right! i'm working on the daggerboard and rudder now and the mast and sail next.

Wow, what a nice ride! Good job!

Forget the rest of the stuff you were gonna put into the boat; she looks just beautiful as is. Instead, splurge on a great bottle of wine, the usual picnic fare, and someone to play some nice violin music from shore, then add one Mrs. Goeckel sitting contentedly in the stern and it all sounds like perfection to me. Motor definitely not necessary! smile.gif

(Actually, that sounds better and better the more I think about it. What should I start working on first guys? The woman or the boat? Or, does that sound too much like the classic "What would you rather have? Hot woman or hot car?" kind of question? :D For any of you who don't know the standard answer, it's "That's easy. If you've got a hot car (or boat?), you can always get a hot woman!")

OK, sorry for whatever kind of moment you call that...anyway, whose design is that boat? It certainly is lovely.
