...with playmobil

Let's be honest guys - we are grown man, but still kids. A friend of mine already bought some christmas presents for his 3 kids and wanted me to hide them at my place. 2 years ago he bought them the pirate-ship and this year it will be the viking-boat.
I remember when those toys came out in Germany, almost 30 years ago. My brother and I got them from the beginning and we were just crazy about those figures. Back then they were more simple, but the concept of having those little figures were you can attach all kinds of headdress (helmets, hats, crowns...) and gear was and still is great smile.gif . Now the basic idea is the same but the look is much more sophisticated (and unfortunately also the price).

I wonder if I can open the box and play a little without anybody noticing it - you can even attach a small engine with prop to the boat :D

Do you have playmobil at your place?

Ahh - I hadn't seen the viking boat! Have bought a pirate ship or two in my time though. #1 grandson is currently into Lego mania and it's a train thing for #2 now.

Ok, I want the viking boat ;)

Playmobil (and Lego also) is hit or miss here in the US. I've noticed that some of the european sets are not marketed in the US. You have to find someone that has a private overseas connection, for a hefty markup. But the youngest son turned 3 today, so it look like I've got to start hunting for this, for him ;)
