Thanks again for more pictures. I really enjoy your posts. Sitting at my desk in a cubical far from water they are really refreshing. Thanks again, keep the pictures coming.

well some more...?

The crowded harbour. Take a look at the red-brick building between the two dark masts of the barge - that's were I rented rooms for my newly founded agency with a big window towards the harbour.

I was surprised that the Museum Boatyard also did some repairs on canoos.

This dutch flat-bottom boat was used a petrol-ship in Hamburg harbour for years until the owner discovered her, bought her and put her back to sailing.

Martin, great pictures of a wonderful event. A question: when will this event be run next year? There is a possibility (maybe even a probability) that I will be in northern Germany (around Essen) next May and June. I would love to come and spectate, and maybe even sneak aboard one of those beautiful working boats.
Cheers. Mickey Lake

The RumRegatta is always at the weekend following Accension Day. Unfortunately I don't know which day that will be next year.
If you come I will take you with me or organize another (bigger, more impressive) boat for you to sail on. :D
This invitation is for everybody who want's to come!!!

I think there're two kinds of pride: the self pride of the 7 deadly sins type; and then the pride in having done a good job. You folks have done a good job. Maybe we need a new word for it? Appreciation?
