How far in does he need to back the trailer before she floats free?
That is quite the ramp!
Very nice, she's waiting for a date with Victoria. Teak abounds!!

The engine is not hooked up yet, so SWMBO had to make a perfect mooring pick up, or risk running aground at low tide.
Hit it first try! Piece of cake! Some things one just doesn't forget. smile.gif

Paul, the trailer is lowered down the ramp on a winch, keeping the tractor out of the slippery. There is a 12 foot tide here, giving plenty of depth to work with.

He's off on his cruise. He said he would be in Rockland on the 15th and would call you.

Good job! I know what it's like to get an old Folkboat into the water. They are wonderful boats, and you will have a great time with her.
I'm always happy to see a boat re-launched.

Where'd you take that first picture from - a tree?
Any pics with the sails up?

First picture was taken from the upstairs bath.
Hughman wanted to take a picture underway but given the 7 year gap between sails and the addition of 1 more kidlet on board I (aka,SWMBO) said not this trip. Next time.
