Well I got stuck in and got her bum covered real thick with bondcrete and aquatite from Aussie company Bondall (http://www.bondall.com.au) and finally got her into the shed for her bum job!

As I got her waitin for me to get to her...

First undercoat almost on... After finishin that by torchling last night I just gotta get power into this flamin shed!!... a quick sand this morning and second coat on different color sceme

I knew would be a sacrificial coat as the sander went ballistic after that!

Final fairing coat is now on... back to thick thick white!!

Now that would be a good thing!... eerr I think? maybe?...

There is a fella a couple of streets away who has a bigger collection of restorers... has a couple {3 or 4} under 20ft similar to this one another 2 around 25 or so feet and a flamin big top heavy looking 40 or so foot launch sittin in a paddock!... the big one lobbed up about 3 weeks ago and now sits on its jinker lookin in despirate need...

And funnily enough if you remember me wanderins awhile back with the luggar Buccealeach I mentioned a funny weed smoking charector named Bernie who had all this info on luggars? ...well seems hes disappeared of the planet somewhere and left behind a 25-30 wooden boat on a jinker!!... seems he just up and went walkabout a month or so back and the owners of the house he was renting are trying to work out what theyre gonna do with this thing... needs work it do... Im having quiet talks with them on the side so the missus doesnt hear about it then one fine arvo I will take a drive while shes with the hoons at netball and when she gets back Im hopin this thing will be in me yard!!!

Of course she will have kittens when she sees it!! fully expected and exepted... cause she has demanded we sell the house after all :rolleyes: ... but well if I can get it at the same price I got this one {$0} I will be either a happy man or a worried one! ;)
