Well the day has finally come I am now officially a out of work bum . Or actually a retired bum.
Yup it happened Friday some of my friends from work and swmbo and I went to the Ideal clam bar
For lunch . And consumed our share of adult beverages I might add . I already miss some of the people
I worked with . I will also miss the work ,I have been very lucky in my career . I have made good money
Working at some thing I loved doing . But I can tell you I am definitely NOT going to miss two and a half hours of driving every day.

If you keep working at something you love it will help with a long healthy retrement. my dad had a 25 year retirement and hope yours is longer healthyewr and happy.

Um, if I may be so crass, I can see why you might miss you co-workers. smile.gif tongue.gif

Anyway, joy to you. And, to She Who Must Now Tollerate A Full Time Husband.

I took over much of the cooking when I retired but had to back off when the Old Girl started getting fat.

Best wishes.

Congratulations Phil! This should certainly speed things up with Floozie (how is she coming anyway?). I wish a long and fruitful retirement for you.

Congratulations!

Let's start a pool to predict the first day that you actually don't wake up thinking you've slept in. :D
