If you read my recent christmas cruise posts you might remember when we got becalmed off Cape Brett in a bit of a sea , after our motor broke. Our Heros of the day, Dave and Sue our cruising friends, came and took the kids off as we slatted and rolled in the swells and the heat. Dave took this photo which I think is quite funny....

Yes, its the Mercurious Threehorsperous variety. Very dangerous when upside down. Vicious in fact.They are a relative of the Seagullus shortshaftus( which are completely safe because they seldom have moving parts)
