Happy father's day. My brother is taking DAD and us sailing for the day on Narragansett Bay :D Not wood - 38' Catalina - but oh well at least it's sailing. smile.gif Oh ya I get birthday and fathers day combined the same day this year. :eek:

Coming to Rhode Island are ya .Good for you and the weather looks like it'll be perrrfect.If by chance I can steal a ride out there I'll keep a lookout for a 38 cati.Enjoy the Ocean State .Where will you be sailing from?Dan L. smile.gif

That's a beautiful area.There is a reconditioned Dutch shallow draft(lack of actual term,paddleboards on the sides) called Branderis right behind the pharmacy on Rt.1A that's worth a look if it's not out on a tour. It's a clear sail over to Newport from there and that's where the eye candy is though it probably will be slow do to the crappy weather we have had for the last week plus.I have a friend who'll probably go fishing for fathers day and I can usually hop a ride,though I just got the word the family is expecting me at my folks house at 3:00 pm. We'll see.I'd be on a white and faded blue 21' cutty power boat called "Gotta Have It". Best of luck and enjoy the day.I live right off Rt 102(Victory Highway,G.W. was here) smile.gif which starts in Wickford and goes to the north part of the state.I'm about 30 min. from there.
