The Designer visits

Roger Dongray (the Golant Gaffer designer) and his wife Irene, together with their son and his partner, arrived in Auckland for a three week trip arround New Zealand. This afternoon they spent about an hour on board Anahere.

Very nice couple. He gave me a few tips to get the best out of her, such as "set the bobstay tight enough to give a definite downward bend on the bowsprit before settingthe jib halyard up as tight as possible"etc. If the weather ok on the weekend some experimenting is in order.
