A while back, there was a discussion on this forum about differences between Mystic's and the Smithsonian's lines for the melonseed. I remember somebody had superimposed the lines of both...
I can't seem to find it now (links all go to the re-direct page). Anyone know how I can find it again? The title seems to have been "Melon seed lofting", but the search isn't working quite right yet, I think...
I'm planning to build one next year, after a summer of looking at plans, drooling over pictures (special thanks to Brian R and David Toner), and pestering people on this & other forums.

I'm thinking to build cedar-strip, hopefully well enough to finish it bright... Pros? Cons? All comments welcome.
I know it'll take longer than ply would, but it's the curves of this hull I'm in love with, so I want them as curvy as humanly possible. ... hey. Has anyone ever cold-molded one?
I've helped build composite cold-molded, and stitch&glue, and helped do repair work to everything from fiberglass to carvel-planked - but that was twenty years ago; I've been doing residential rehabs for the last ten. Thinking to buid one of Platt's geodesic aerolite 12-footers in the meantime, as a refresher...
