I saw the following on the Traditional Small Craft Assn's group at Yahoo, and thought I would repost it here in case someone's interested:

I have a difficult situation here that I wanted to ask you about. "Frolic" is one of several 26' keel cats built by the Crosby yard in the 30's. She has been donated to International Yacht Restoration School (IYRS) by Dick Eagan who wants nothing more to do with the boat. Unfortunately the boat is much too big to fit into our program and I don't have any resources for an advanced fellowship on her. All of this is compounded by having to move our whole fleet off the present storage premises and consolidate. "Frolic" barely made it here she is so rotten and soft. It is clear the boat has been sitting uncovered and untended for many years. I'm not sure we can keep her. I have called all the maritime museums and none of them can take her either. So I'm calling to see if you know anyone who might want a tremendous, old, rotten catboat.
