On one of the rowing threads within the last couple of years, someone posted a link to a site that lists used rowing shells/sculls for sale. I used to have a link but
I don't seem to have it any more. I vaguely recall that it was a Maine site. Does this ring a bell? If anybody could post a link I'd appreciate it.

Thanks, Joe

IIRC it was run by a guy associated with the Epifanes distributorship in Thomaston, Maine: 1-800-269-0961

Thanks all, rowable classics was the one I was thinking about, but I forgot I was also looking for the row2k classifieds. Little River and adirondack rowing I'd already found.

Steven, I've slipped over the edge and I'm on the way down. In the last year or so I've rowed over a thousand miles, a lot of it on an erg, and I really want to get into a boat made to row. My Shellback's a lot of fun but I'm limited in how far or fast I can go in the time available on a given outing. I'm not married to the idea of a scull, my preference would be something like the Whisp, or maybe Oughtred's Mole or Badger. But I'm not ruling out a sliding seat rig, if I can find one.

I really just like the rowable classics website and his philosophy of trying to keep the old wooden shells on the water.
