Jeez Chuck.
You have more pictures posted here than I have in my entire collection.
I can think of five pics tops of moi!
Of course, I was the black sheep of the family...still am!
Someone must love you.

Jamie....I virtually have nothing up to three years ago when I had my first attack by doctors...all this stuff comes from my mothers collection of stuff that I mailed home...lotsa folks have asked me to write or post things and I have been unable to do so until now...I am through three albums and just picked this out...I haven't even found much on the boats yet...mom thought all that was pure foolishness...maybe she was right..

if you think that you were the black sheep of the family, I wuz disowned....Brother is a minister, one sister ex-ray whatever teck, the other plays the organ and piano and is a bigwig church person....I went to Berkely, Alviso slough, played hippy, went to war and shot at people...couldn't stay home for more than a week without family starting something...Mom sez "don't bring home one of those foreign wimmens"...and when I did she told her "don't get pregnant with him, I dont want any half breed grandkids.....Sailing was the only peace that I had....

Thanks for the pictures.

I looked at your avatar. You aren't going to tell us you did the BOC as well.

paladin

yup...mom said that....
I had entered the 85-86 BOC challange, built the boat and made the qualifying run to the azores..paid my entry fees and all that.....which authorized me the use of the BOC logo......about 3 weeks before the start of the race a lady in a big buick station wagon ran a red light in Baileys Crossroads virginia and ran over me and my little TR-3......broke a rib, fractured two more....and I came out better than the TR-3

Chuck is one amazing dude. Finast kind. Told me tonight he was posting pictures. He'd made comments in the past about drawing... A proverbial renaissance man.

And yes, write that damn book. Monel rivets; who knew? Chuck, that's who!

Peter..Peru is nice....except in the mountains with the rebels....
I did a consulting job there a few years ago and for a long weekend my hosts gave me a pilot, an archeology dude, and a helicopter for the day at Machu Pichu......super nice....

FINALLY everyone else can push you to do the book as well, Chuck. This might be the most we've seen you share on the forum yet.

Keep the stories coming. There are more...

Topic veer: How about Monday we catch up for that cuppa coffee? I simply can't take the office anymore. I'm just not going to bother worrying about it, and a few hours off sounds about perfect. With Joe's pictures of river sailing, I can't hardly think about some dang development project... (I mean, even JOE is sailing more than me)

What say I pick you up around 0900 Monday? (my treat, of course)

Okey dokey, Matt......I'll wear my Sunday go to meeting clothes.....
(sneekers, khakis and pullover).....what are you driving and do ya wanna make a warehouse run...

Matt J.

I'll have the Jeep again, most likely. I think we can make some progress at the warehouse with it, though. If you'd like, I'll bring the 4x8 trailer? That ought to get some stuff moved.

Yer fancy. Sunday best for me these days is grubby jeans, boots, cap and a t-shirt, with my new favorite WB coffee mug full-up.
