A great long time ago I posted the groundbreaking for my new studio....

A few of you have been kind enough to ask about my progress on the project, so now here is the (never)finished product...

The studio is 16' x 32' and houses all the junk I had in my former space at about 2000 sf. Many of the machines are on wheels now, but I am much happier with a smaller space. It makes me more efficient. Also the commute is considerably shorter. I store some lumber beneath, some beside. Note the pile of teak to the left.
As with any move the sorting out process can take a while. I cannot figger out what to do with the silly turning leaning beside the door, for example. But bit by bit things are getting put in their place. The only downside to moving work home is that the studio becomes a great place to put stuff that you (or spouse) doesn't want in the house any more.
