I see on another thread that you're soon off on your 3/4 year cruise. Here's hoping for fair winds, many stops with friends along the way, and a wonderful transition from land to sea for Ceilidh.

Looking forward to catching up with you in the summer, when you make it up my way.

Tom.

I'll be there. Will give you a call when I'm in your area. I think we have discussed places to go near you.
Have a good summer Tom.

Just say where and when Joe!
I have a mooring in Hamburg cove. Can't remember the number but you have permission to use it. I'll call you with the number when I get to Hamburg this weekend. Just in case!

As I wrote on some other post...somewhere, I'll be posting pictures this year. Joe may have to help tangently but hopefully, those on the forum will have a few pictures to drool over. And those that I meet on the way will be included.
Needless to say, I have been on the hard longer this year than I have been in four years. Time to gwet the heck outta here....
Have a good fall/winter!
Best and continued good thoughts to you, Jo and the hoons.!

Now I am gonna be under the gun... Pictures...umm. No tech abilities here. Will have to spend some money on some photo cards and create a revolvinjg door situation with them either with MMike or Joe.
But I promise, they will be there or here, or somewhere! :)

So, leaving MD Sunday morning. That's under 72 hours! :)

Thanks all.
For those who like to sail or power, I sense that most will understand how I am feeling now.
I'm packed...I've been packed for a week. I toss and turn at night. I run through check lists. I go through them twice wondering whether I have covered every angle.
Last summer, my house was broken into when I was gone. Nothing stolen as the guy who broke in passed out on my couch. But, the sherrif had the po send all my mail back. It has taken months to straighten things out.
Hopefully, this year, everything will go smoothly or as smoothly as can be expected.
We all do go through this but I am really getting antsy.

I'm just glad I can afford to. And more importantly, I am looking forward to meeting some great formites during my wanderings. :)
That is truly the best reason for being a member here on the WBF!

Jamie,

Fair winds and tides. Looking forward to seeing you and Uncas in Newport.

If you get to Brooklin (WB) let me know and I'll have my brother say Hi for me. (The bum is in Brooklin all summer!)

Keep us posted as to your adventures.

Best,

Russ

I'd be more than happy to help facilitate the photo-documentation of "The Adventures of UNCAS: A North-East Voyage". I trust you have my number & address on file? Let me know how I can help. Have a good trip, and remember the Riverport saying about the weather:

"When the glass falls quickly, the wind is coming off with a bang."

I am sure that I do.
I have a lot saved regarding messages. I think you are among them. If not, I'll pm you.
Again, as in the case of your help last time, I thank you.
If ya want to go for a sail, Make sure you let me know. Always welcome and I serve some decent food. At least no one has died. LOL.

I'd look forward to a sail, maybe come along to spell you a bit on the helm in a day passage from, say, Liverpool to HR's or from there to Chester. Or just a jaunt around the bay would be delightful. I hope to pay for my passage by spiriting you away from UNCAS for a day to give you the insider's GOB tour of Lunenburg County.

Sounds good.
Am trying to copy my filing cabinet logs to print. A bit of trouble at the moment but can always hand write them.

Great!
Ya have my cell phone #? I'll be leaving it on MWF between 1700 and 1900 hours. Saves me going ashore to recharge the batteries.
Have a good summer. Hope it isn't going to be too hot!
