I have become a member of the MacKenzie Boat Club. I hope this is even more incentive to get off my butt and get her floating. I've also picked a name. The Julia-Caroline named after my daughters.

Hi Pete,
I have a 1967 26' Mac and have been a member of the club for less than a year. I have been reading your posts about your boat. Glad you saved it. Mine was pretty much in a similar situation where the previous owner was going to cut it up. Because I expressed interest and regret that it was going to be destroyed, he gave it to me. As we all know, free boats aren't really free!! Now I have a 26' lawn ornament. But at least it's saved from oblivion. Don't know when I'll get to it, if at all. I'll be happy to correspond with you off the forum about our boats. My email cbschneider@att.net.

I've been a member for about a week. I can't seem to put down old news letters with all the boats restored. I've started to work on the windshield about a week ago but haven't touched it since. I just keep telling myself Rome wasn't built in a day.
