Hopefully there is a photo of the sharpie I've been working on since October. If this works I'll upload a few more but it is a slow process on dial up.

Pipefitter, It trims a bit down by the stern as I had to move the seat back to accomodate the deeper dagger board trunk. The design waterline has the stem about 1" in the water and the transom about 1 1/2" above. Sweet rower with virtually no wake until the GPS starts to get above 3.5 mph. The hull is Atkins "Alone" the balance is my own work. Sailing rig is ready to go but with thunder storms moving through discression seemed in order today.

Ron, take a look at the link. It reads as follows: -http://http://pic2.picturetrail.com/VOL1003/4980662/10229254/t-146771407.jpg
To make it show up as a picture I removed the first http:// and to make it larger than a thumbnail I removed the t- and of course I put the edited link between and with no spaces.

Thanks again. I'm being dragged kicking and screaming towards a bit higher level of computer literacy. I had no idea how appropriate my tag line would be when I started hanging out here.

Wow, I surprised myself with this one. The picture that is. Appreciate Shaw & Tenney's prices after making those oars.

Nice job. What's the design?

http://pic2.picturetrail.com/VOL1003/4980662/10229254/146813412.jpgThe lines are Atkins "Alone". The balance of the layout including the daggerboard etc. were laid out to fit a 59 sq ft sail that I had in the inventory. Currently Leg-o-mutton sprit but will probably end up a standing lug because of the shorter spars.

Sweet!
Will you use a traveller for the mainsheet, or handle it directly?

Thorne, I have a rope traveller above the tiller as a temporary arangement. The rig is Bolger/Payson Cartopper and the mast is as flexible as a fly rod. The mast is square, 1 7/8" at the step and 3/4" at the top. Light/variable wind today with 180* shifts so I didn't really get to learn much ablut the rig but it seems to have no bad habits. Roger, thanks for the compliment. I'm darn happy with the results.
