:) Greetings, all -

Need some help on finding information on Wagemaker boats, especially the Seamate model. I found one for sale a short distance away, but really don't know much about them. I know they were a Michigan furniture manufacturer that also built a line of plywood hull boats, but can't find out much more. Does anyone have any idea as to the rariety of this model, or a fair price for one in good condition? Thanks for whatever info you can send my way.

Try www.vmsl.com/nonchriscraft.pdf

It looks like they were also called Wolverine??

:) Thanks for the link!

Actually, Wolverine was one model of Wagemaker. They also offered the Empire line and others, but there really isn't much info on them.

Wagemaker was a very prolific boat builder. Try the book "The Real Runabouts" Volume IV by Mr. Bob Speltz. They had the best of all world's making wood, aluiminum and fiberglass boats. But the firm ceased making boats in the late 1950s or early 1960s.
