Just came back from a one-week canoe tour in northern Germany (me, my wife Hela, my daughters Janne and Franka). The first days we stayed at Malente, a small 850-year old village in northern Germany. Some pics:

The childs had their own kajak

but most time they sit in our wooden canoe

Then going to the small village Bosau, that was founded by St. Vicelin another 850 years ago

And eating some icecream

Was a lot of fun and everybody enjoyed it. and a wooden canoe is allways good for a talk with other people...

well worth a bump. Missed that one the first time around by the looks.
We think cruising in our boat is like being in a canoe.......

Thanks, Ingo; great storyline and photos. That's quite the family you have (I have four daughters). BTW, what's the story on your canoe? Brand, did you build it? Beautiful.
