I had but can't find the name and tel # of a lumber company on rt 17 between Augusta and Rockland, Maine, they sorta specialize in decking for boats. Anyone from Maine know the contact info?

The place is called America's Wood Company, but I can't remember his name or contact info. He has a reputation for being expensive and not particularly pleasant. He's just up the road from me in Washington.

Sounds like a guy who sells around me N. of Philly. I wouldn't buy off of this guy if I was drowning and I had a million bucks in my pocket.

I stopped in there and got the feeling that if I didn't leave they were gonna run me through a bandsaw. I don't know but that road always has a funny vibe. I usually watch out for the pick up trucks with Veterans plates. Most of those guys are crazy and will try to run you off the road if you try to pass them when they are going 20 miles under the limit. I have said this to others who drive there and most agreed that there is something in the water or the whole area was built on a indian burial ground or something.
I think Lewiston Auburn comes in second for strangeness.
I do about 60k all around the state each year and those are my two least favorite areas.

Thanks for the info, I'll check the prices over the phone.
I have driven that road a couple of times and I gotta agree, strange. Isn't that the same road with the big barn junk shop? Went in there once, that was enough for me.
