After recieving so much support from you folks when my health started to fail last Spring, I wanted to tell you that I never did sell the boat, and that I actually worked up the gumption to go back out. I even did some single handed sailing, which I'm told was against all common sense, but I buried the rail all the way from Holland to Sagatuck on Lake Michigan and had the time of my life.
Near death experiences are strange, but they certainly are humbling. I've slowed down a little, and that seems to be a good thing. As they say, as long as you're on the right side of the dirt and breathing, there is likely more right than wrong with you.
