bronze sheaves

Any of you guys seen these for sale recently?
They don't have to have bearings, as they are just going in a triple cheek block on my boom for reefing pendents.
I turned a pair out of cocobolo last night and they looked OK, but I really wanted bronze.

Check the catalogs, or ask your local chandler. Esoteric outfits like Toplicht, Classic Yacht Hardware, and Davey carry them mail order. You might also check into having them turned out of shaft stock at your local machine shop. Finding the machine lathe is the trick, turning a sheave is a snap for any machinist. They're probably cheaper by far that way.
