Just spars, sails, varnish, deck hardware, nets, systems, etc.
Yes, there's some wood in it, in both structural and cosmetic functions.

Nice, who is the designer?

It's Dick Newick (http://www.wingo.com/newick/)' s 'Spark' There's a writeup of the design in Boat Design Quarterly #2.
Well, you're at least a year ahead of me. I helped out in a small way when Ian Johnston and Cathy Hawkins were building their Crowther design Tri back in the 80's, turned out to be the fastest multi in the Southern Hemisphere for a while there.
Not a lot of wood in her, though she did have a huon Pine keelson. Salvaged from a disused railway bridge in western Tassie apparently.

Wow. You've made a lot of progress and she looks sweet. Nice lines.

Hilarious, reminds me of when my high football coach told me "your not big, but you sure are slow".

LOL.
Newick is very distinctive isn't he.
There's quite a few of his larger designs here, one was hauled next door to me last year. The one with the highly curved 'deck', about 30... 32 ft.

Are you sure that isn't an airplane with outriggers rather than wings?

Jim,
Congratualtions. I've been following you progress over the last several years via e-mail. Yours is the first actual photo of the hull(s) I've seen. Can you share any others photos with us?

Looks very interesting.
More Photos please.
How about a little construction re-cap set of photos?

I hesitate to post more pix for several reasons.
- The principal structural materials are not wood. No white oak, trunnels, pine tar or even bronze. I respect the sensitivities of some of our hosts.
- This is my first effort in these materials and there were some ugly stages that children shouldn't see.
- While the boat is intended for my personal use, some might perceive a more elaborate spread as having commercial intent.
I'd be glad to comment on the design.
