Just wanted to soothe myself, been waiting on a wood shipment that seems to never want to show up.

Isn't it snowing up there about now with that big storm coming in from the Pacific?

A hard combo to beat: my gal, my kayak, and a Lyle Hess Cutter.

But sometimes nothing beats a deserted beach:

Spokaloo,

Nice pictures indeed. You must be quick with the timer feature, or you have one of those remotes.

Ironically, yes. It actually is snowing as we speak. I intended to get the tugboat out of the water and go for a row yesterday, but 3/4" thick clear ice said otherwise. It did bring the bald eagle out for a nice viewing though.

Makes me sad that the ice came, but should be thawed for a nice row this weekend.

Also put in the good word with Selway-Fisher to put some lines down on a 30' performance rowing skiff. Something that doesnt have such a low hull speed. Check out the first and third photos, look at where the stern wave is coming up, NOWHERE NEAR THE TRANSOM....

Ah, and I cheated with the pics. Wife's camera, friend of mine in the tugboat. Unfair advantage, I know.

Jim, we should meet for a paddle eh?
