Well sometimes the weather just isn't what one had hoped for. We still went out though, but under power only as the engine needed a good run and the batteries needed a boost.
It poured down with a Nor Easter and a good chop running all the way out to green Island. We dropped the hook and had a picnic below, which was fine and the weather cleared till we raised the hook for the return to the berth, then it pissed down again all the way back in.
Still, I had a great time and enjoyed just being afloat.
I'm going to have to get some decent wet weather gear though.
