I just received an account from woodenboat telling me they have sent me 4 bills and I have ignored them. I have received no bills. I checked at the website and I have 10 issues left. What is going on? I renewed my subscription a while back and have got my magazines, though a bit late. Should I ignore the bill? It says they will not send me any more mags until I pay.

There is this new invention called the telephone. You pick it up, push a few buttons and almost instantly can be talking to someone who can actually fix your problem. It works a lot better than asking for random advice and opinions on an internet forum...

But more cost effective from the antipodes might be the internet. Hit the h ome page and connect to the subscription department.
Of course, that might generate six more bills . . .

Had some problems with my subscription. Called the office and talked to Lorna Grant. She was great to work with and no more problems. lornagrant@woodenboat.com Try her e-mail.

This sounds a lot like scams I've seen where you can clear up your account by going to a web site that they provide and giving them your credit card information. Red flag! Call Wooden Boat directly (everyone I've dealt with is extremely helpful), or Ron suggests above, e-mail Lorna Grant. That way you know you're really dealing with someone associated with Wooden Boat.

Thanks Guys, I have sent an email to Lorna. It certainly looks real. Who knows? Main thing I have been getting my mags.
