A 1930s runabout I am working on called for "Marblehead" brand anti-fouling green bottom paint. I am trying to figure out what color green it was exactly. Black & white photos suggest it was a lighter shade. Anyone out there have an old can on their shelves or is old enough to remember?
It is a light green. My friend at F.L. Woods who has been using the name had George Kirby try to make the color but George said that reproducing the color in bottom paint requires the use of white lead, so it can not be done. My understanding. The clothes at http://www.flwoods.com/page/94 approximate the bottom paint color.

Thanks Thad,
That color is actually exactly what I had in mind, a grayish-green. I'll call George tomorrow to see if he has a sample of that color.
