I'd like to open a thread here for anyone to add any info they have on: Danish Fishing Vessels (they actually have the designation of 'DFV'.)
My Danish buddy bought one to restore and although we have scanned the web for months now, you never know where or when someone might pop up with something new (or old).
The oak is 2" thick.
The engine is a Hundested.
The prop is a Hundested also, which turns at only one specific rev, and the prop itself, is a CPP (controlled pitch prop).
Its really quite interesting, although very specific.
We have a website at:
http://www.vikingboatlift.com/daneboat/index.html
but wish to add futher information.
