An article on the history of CARVER BOAT has just been published in the Jan/Feb 2007 issue of "Classic Boating" magazine. Carver currently makes huge fiberglass power yachts. They started out in 1954 making small molded veneer power boats. They were very slow to make the switch from wood to fiberglass and did not make the complete change until the mid 1970s.
"Classic Boating" is only available thru the publisher in Oconomowoc, WI. It is not on news stands or at book stores.
