Have sent couple of messages to Mr. Burgess but no reply yet.
Would like to see pictures of his designs, schooners, traditional

Well there is a forum member named Charles Burgess, who is a descendeant of the other Charles Burgess.

That looks like the guy and the website. He seems to have done a pretty good job of hiding himself. There is no phone number or address (beyond just "Milton, FL") that I can find on the website, there is no Burgess Ltd. listed in the phone listings for Milton, FL and no Charles Burgess listed there either. A search using http://www.intelius.com/ turns up an Charles Burgess in Milton, FL but you have to pay to get the listing.

I did not know who he was before your question came up here (I initially thought you were referring to someone who is long dead). I'm just reasonably good at finding people so I gave it a shot. So, I have no idea whether he is still in business. Good luck!

Yes, I am still in business. But I have moved to Pensacola FL (the next county). I have just found your email to me burried under a ton of spam (cleaning out my inbox). Email is usually the best way to contact me, but during my move I was offline for a while and it took me a while to find yours.

Bruce - I'm alive and kickin'...LOL. FYI...there are a lot of "Charles Burgess" in my area - makes it amusing at the local video rental store...LOL.

Since getting a cell phone several years ago I have found little use for a land line. The address listed with my website is good as well as the phone number.
